How to create a language based upsell funnel with ReConvert. (Supporting multi-language stores)
As your store grows, you may attract customers who don't speak English. In this tutorial, we will show you how to add a multi-language trigger and template so that customers see ReConvert sections in their own language. ReConvert supports multi language stores on Shopify.
Create a New Funnel.
Here's an article on how to use the Funnel Builder.
Set up a condition (trigger) to identify what language the customer used at checkout. Learn more about conditions (triggers): Trigger Based Thank You Pages
The condition (trigger) should be set to: Category - Order Details > Parameter - Language > Condition - IS > Status - Italian.
Create a new template that you can customize to your specific language.
Once you've entered the page builder, you can add the section and all the required information on the specific language here.
π NOTE: The rest of the Shopify built in sections (like order summary, continue shopping button, and customer information) will still be displayed in the store's main language on the page builder. However, on a live Thank You page they will be displayed in the customer's language (the translation is handled by Shopify).
π‘ TIP: The offer will be shown in the store's default language, but you can create a specific offer and translate it yourself.
After you're done, you can test the template with existing orders or place a new one.
Go to an existing order where the condition (trigger) should be activated (Italian checkout, for example) and view your Thank You page to check that everything is in order: How can I see my actual thank you page?
Here an example of the checkout process in Italian and the actual thank you page result:
As you can see everything works well.
