Making the most of ReConvert’s post-purchase features - best practices
So now that you've taken the first step and installed ReConvert, here's how you can make the most of our features to achieve as many conversions as possible. The good news is, our best practices are installed for you when you select our default Conversion Monster templates during or after set up.
Post-Purchase Offers
The best way you can get your customers ReConverted using post-purchase upsells is to:
Give them a big discount
Give them a very personalized offer
Your one-click upsell offers are created and adjusted on the offer editor.
The Best Condition (Trigger) to set
We recommend that you set your condition (trigger) to all orders, it would be best for all your customers to see your post-purchase offers.
Editing your offers
We recommend that you set:
Your first upsell to be the most expensive product, at half of your max discount.
If they accept the offer, upsell a product recommended by Shopify at an extra 5% off.
If they decline the offer, upsell the most expensive product at your max discount.
Creating urgency
The offer editor has a timer option, it is best to leave it on and offer a small time-window as this adds urgency to the offer.
Thank You Page Sections
ReConvert offers a huge number of sections for the widest range of scenarios. We've also created "Pre-made templates" so you won't have to work as hard setting up your thank you page. We recommend the "Conversion monster" template to start with, it contains a set of the highest converting and pre-configured widgets.
NOTE 📝 You can make changes to our pre-built templates to create the exact post-purchase offer and thank you page you want.
1️⃣ Pop-up With Timer
This is the highest-converting section on ReConvert. We advise that you select the "on every impression" option, so your customers will see the pop-up each time they visit their Thank You page (order status page). 2️⃣Product Upsell
It's best to set it up to display the "most expensive product purchased". We recommend you to mention the discount you offer in the section's title, to make it attractive enough for your customers to make another purchase. 3️⃣ Product Recommendations

4️⃣ Reorder Button
Use this to get customers to reorder products they already purchased, with a discount and/or free shipping. This can be very effective for creating buy one, get one free offers that'll drive your profits through the roof. 5️⃣ Order Tracking

6️⃣ Birthday Collector
This section is extremely effective for collecting your customers' birthday data and using it for your Klaviyo, MailChimp, SMS Bump or other marketing campaigns.
