The Product widget is a widget placed inside the top-level Product upsell widget. This is where you define which product will be shown to the customers and its settings.

Remember - Saving Changes - after making your changes, click the Save button at the top-right corner to apply the updates

When you add a product upsell widget, the product widget is automatically added under it

You can also add more product widgets to an existing product upsell widget by clicking Add widget

Select Product from the widget selector, and it will be added to the bottom of the product upsell

The product upsell widget contains 8 customizable blocks:

Product title
Product details
Description
Price & discount
Button
Option picker
Quantity selector
Success/Error banner

Customizing Product Display Blocks

Select the image block

Choose to contain or cover the image

Decide whether to display the main product image or a specific variant image by selecting or deselecting the checkbox at the bottom of this block

Product Title

Choose an alternative product title to display to your customers

Product Details

Customize the product details that will be displayed underneath the product title

Save changes frequently to avoid losing progress

Product Description

Decide whether to display the product description (this is shown underneath the product details and can be used to provide more substantive details about your product)

Choose between showing the default or an alternative description

Make the description collapsible if necessary (often descriptions can be lengthy, so it may make sense to collapse the description)

Price and Discount

Set up a discount:

You have four options when applying the discount:

Apply no discount (leave discount box unticked)
Apply a percentage discount
Apply a fixed monetary value discount per item
Apply a fixed monetary value discount per order

Select what action ReConvert should take in the event of a conflict between discount codes, e.g. if a discount code has already been applied by the customer

Due to the way Wix works, discounts are applied via discount codes. Only one discount code can be displayed, so you will need to decide what should happen in the case of a conflict

You can choose to display:

Your upsell without any discount
The larger discount code should take precedence
The ReConvert upsell discount should take precedence
Don’t show an upsell if a discount code is already in use

Select the product prices to display (at least one)
Highest and lowest prices
Highest, lowest, and 'compare-to' price (if one exists)
Original product price only

Compare-to-Price - the most expensive price of the product listed in the Wix product inventory before any store discounts
Original Price - the price after any non-ReConvert discount code has been applied (i.e. the discounted price you’ve manually reduced the compare-to-price to)

Top Tip: We recommend either: a) showing all 3 prices or omitting the Compare-to-Price and just leaving the Original Price and Product Price including Discount
If you choose to display all of these prices and one does not exist, Wix will simply not show anything in its place

Select the size of each of the selected prices

Save changes after configuring

Button

Choose button type (primary, secondary, or plain)

We recommend using the Secondary button type to keep the main 'Buy' button as the only primary button

Customize the button text if needed

Save changes before proceeding

Option Picker

Decide whether to display the variant picker

Customize the variant picker text

Save changes

Quantity Selector

Choose to allow or prevent the quantity selector

Set default, minimum, and maximum quantities

If you are choosing a minimum quantity greater than 1, note that the default quantity will need to match or exceed the minimum quantity

Save changes

Success/Error Banner

Success Banner

Choose whether to display a success message when the upsold product is added to the cart (there is also an option to preview this)

Customize the banner type and success message

Choose whether the banner is dismissible

Error Banner

Choose whether to display an error message when the upsold product is not successfully added to the cart (there is also an option to preview this)

Customize the banner type and error message

Dynamic Error Banner Text, if selected, will display the actual error in this space for the customer (in English). Alternatively, you can type your own catch-all error text here or in a language other than English if your store's language is not in English

Choose whether the banner is dismissible

It is recommended to show the customer success and error banners to keep them informed of the status, even if it is just a one-line standard text
