Product title block | Shopify

The product title block exists within multiple widgets that involve a product. It forms the title displayed for the product before the customer. By default, the product title from your inventory will be shown. If you wish to amend the product title, follow the steps below.

💡 Note: depending on the widget and page type you are using, there may be slight variations in how the product title block is displayed and what customization options are available. Always check the settings within your specific widget to see what’s possible.

Changing the Product Title

Navigate to the product title block within the widget you are using



You will see a checkbox labeled Display alternative product title. Check this box if you want to show a different title instead of the default product title



Alternative product title: Enter the desired alternative title in the Alternative product title text box on the right

Link Icon: Use this to insert hyperlinks into the product title

Text Formatting Options:

- Font Size: adjust the size of the text
- Alignment: set the text alignment (left, center, right)
- Bold: bold the text for emphasis
- Hyperlink: add a hyperlink

Decide whether you'd like to include a link to the product by checking or unchecking the box

📌 Shopify limitation: on post-purchase pages 1 & 2, you can select an alternative product title, but text formatting options (such as font size, alignment, and bold) are not available. This is a Shopify limitation.

Here is an example of an alternative product title with various formatting options applied. In this example, we have used large font, center alignment, and bold text. We have also checked the "link to product" option, allowing customers to easily access the Shopify store listing



After making your changes, click the Save button at the top-right corner to apply the updates
