How to use the products block | Shopify
The products block exists within the product recommendations widget, which allows you to select multiple products.
Selecting products to display
- Select the products sub-widget on the left hand side
- Select your preferred layout: Grid, Slider or List
- Grid
The default layout is Grid. This option spreads out the selected number of products on your customers' page, adhering to the maximum products per row that you choose
In this example we have opted for four specific products that we want to display to customers, with 3 products per row.
- Slider
You can also choose to display your product recommendations in a Slider format. The slider shows up to 4 products on the screen at once, allowing customers to scroll through additional products. The scrolling hints, from most to least noticeable, are:
* Pill: A small clickable hint to indicate to your customers to scroll for additional products. The word 'scroll' can be edited to your preference
* Shadow: A small shadow border indicating to the customer to click for more products
* None: Only the initial maximum 3 products will be visible, with no scroll or shadow option
- List
Alternatively, the List layout creates a straightforward list of your products, respecting the maximum number of products you select
