How to integrate with Wiser personalized recommendations | Shopify

Wiser is a Shopify app that allows you to show personalized product recommendations using a proprietary algorithm. Integrate it with ReConvert to start showing personalized products in your upsell and cross-sell offers. Maximum conversion, here we come!

You can set up the integration with just a few clicks and start generating more conversions from your ReConvert offers with accurately targeted recommendations.

With the new ReConvert and Wiser integration, you can display recommended products in the following pages:

Checkout page (Shopify Plus only)
Post-purchase page(s)
Thank you page
Order status page

How To Enable the Wiser Integration

For this example, we're going to enable the Wiser integration into the product upsell widget on our Thank You page.

The step-by-step instructions appear after the following GIF which shows how to use Wiser recommendations within ReConvert once Wiser has already been installed and activated:



Go into a page in which you would like to use the Wiser integration
Click the slot that contains the relevant widget you would like to use the Wiser integration with
Click Edit Widgets to the right-hand side
Within the new screen that opens, select the widget in which you wish to integrate Wiser
Under Product to Display, click the dropdown menu



Select Wiser Recommendations

If you already have the Wiser app installed, and set up correctly, you will see the following and can skip to step 13 in this help article:-



If you do not yet have the Wiser app installed and set up correctly, you will see the following instructions from the widget



Click Install Wiser

Follow the steps from Wiser to enable the integration, making sure to click save [if you have any issues, please click here to contact Wiser support for assistance]

Navigate back to the ReConvert Flow Builder, following steps 1 - 6 above

Click check status and if you have followed the instructions correctly, it should show that the integration is enabled



Now you can start generating more conversions from your ReConvert offers with personalized recommendations
