How to integrate with Recomatic personalized recommendations | Shopify

Recomatic is a product recommendations app that uses past orders data, products descriptions and titles, tags and categories to select the most relevant related products to show. It’s always in sync with your product base and it learns from your customers. In other words, it supercharges your recommendations to massively improve your customers' buying experience. Maximum conversion here we come!

You can set up the integration with just a few clicks and start generating more conversions from your ReConvert offers with accurately targeted recommendations.

With the new ReConvert and Recomatic integration, you can display recommended products in the following pages:

Checkout page (Shopify Plus only)
Post-purchase page(s)
Thank you page
Order status page

How To Enable the Recomatic Integration

For this example, we're going to install the Recomatic integration into the product upsell widget on our Thank You page.

The step-by-step instructions appear after the following GIF which shows how to use Recomatic recommendations within ReConvert once Recomatic has already been installed and activated:



Go into a page in which you would like to use the Recomatic integration

Click the slot that contains the relevant widget you would like to use the Recomatic integration with

Click Edit Widgets to the right-hand side

Within the new screen that opens, select the widget in which you wish to integrate Recomatic

Under Product to Display, click the dropdown menu



Select Recomatic Recommendations

If you already have the Recomatic app installed, and set up correctly, you will see the following and can skip to step 13 in this help article:-




If you do not yet have the Recomatic app installed and set up correctly, you will see the following instructions from the widget



Click Install Recomatic

Follow the steps from Recomatic to enable the integration, making sure to click save [if you have any issues, please click here to contact Recomatic support for assistance] (https://admin.recomaticapp.com/widgets/installation)

Navigate back to the ReConvert Flow Builder, following steps 1 - 6 above

Click check status and if you have followed the instructions correctly, it should show that the integration is enabled



Now you can start generating more conversions from your ReConvert offers with personalized recommendations
