How to collect customer birthdays on your Shopify thank you page using ReConvert
It's heartwarming to be remembered on your birthday, especially as a grown-up. ReConvert has a widget that allows you to collect your customers' Birthday info on the Thank You page, and send them a message on that special day!
Using this feature can help you make your customer feel special by offering them something from your store on their birthday. The information will be synced into the Shopify customer card as a note. What's best for you, is that birthday emails have a 481% higher transaction rate than promotional emails!
Adding the Widget
1️⃣ Go to your Thank you Page builder.
2️⃣ Select Customize to open a thank you page
3️⃣ In the left area or right area menu , select add section and click Birthday collector widget
The birthday collector widget allows you to do the following:
Customize the free text section.
Choose the date format.
Customize the placeholder text.
Customize the submit button text, text color and button color.
You can see the options listed above as you navigate the menu
💡 Note: This widget will keep appearing to your customers until they submit their birthday, after which it will disappear.
Adding Third Party Collectors
There is an option to collect birthday information using the app, or to integrate with third party collectors.

To access third party collectors, click General Settings on your ReConvert Dashboard and navigate to Third party birthday integration
