About checkout upsells

Using ReConvert's checkout upsells, you can customize your Shopify Plus store's checkout by adding different sections and blocks to your checkout pages.

Checkout upsells in ReConvert use Shopify's Checkout Extensions API, and work seamlessly with the Shopify checkout, allowing for a smooth and fast user experience, for maximum conversions.

The checkout is arguably the most sensitive part of the customer's journey, which is why any additions to it need to be made with care and precision. For this reason, in ReConvert, we focus on the following guidelines in all of our checkout sections:

Simplicity- minimal distractions to the customer, aimed to keep him on the forward track of completing the checkout.
Focus- our 2 goals with checkout optimization are to improve conversion rates or increase the order value- you will not find sections that don't target one of these goals.

Who can use checkout upsells and why

Checkout upsells are currently only available for Shopify Plus stores.

If your store is not in the Shopify Plus plan, you can always use ReConvert in other areas, such as post purchase once click upsells and the thank you page.

This is a policy by Shopify, allowing only Plus merchants to edit the checkout pages.

Getting started with checkout upsells

If you are eligible to use checkout upsells and would like to activate them, follow these 2 steps:
Create checkout upsells using the ReConvert Editor
Add your ReConvert upsells as app sections to the Shopify Checkout Editor
