How to add a post purchase survey

Post-purchase surveys give you a chance to learn how customers feel about your products or services in order to improve on them, and it also provides an opportunity to gain feedback on the overall buying process in an unobtrusive manner.

ReConvert has a Post-Purchase survey widget, which allows you to gain this information and more. We'll take you through the process in this tutorial.

Creating a survey

1️⃣ Click the Thank you Pages menu on the Reconvert Dashboard. Select Post Purchase Surveys

2️⃣ Click the “Create a new survey” button

3️⃣ Enter your survey title and click 'Save title' button

||| ⚠️ WARNING: be aware that customers will see the title (though this can be disabled via the tick-box on the Thank You Page.

4️⃣ Questions go in the Question box, with four possible answer types

The following limitations and considerations for post-purchase checkout extensions apply:

Supported Payment Processors / Online Gateways for Post-Purchase Upsells (compatible with, and supported by, Shopify for use with ReConvert)

Please Note:-

If your processor is not on the list, the best way to test it would be to install the app and run a test order:
Make sure it's not a free order (you can do a 99% discount)
If your gateway is not supported, it will also not work with other upsell apps, since the gateway is not supported by Shopify - it's not related to the upsell app itself

If your gateway is not yet supported by Shopify, in this case we'd recommend still using our Thank You page and Order Status page upsells which tend to convert at about 2% generating around 15% more revenue on average! The Pop-Up with Timer feature lets you create a special, time-sensitive offer for customers who have just completed a purchase.

Some benefits of adding this section are:

Research has shown that limited-time offers are based on a psychological phenomenon known as “fear of missing out” (FOMO) in which refers to the anxiety one may get not being able to experience the thrilling occurrence elsewhere.
It can be utilized as an effective tool to test a new product or service you’re hoping to roll out permanently. If it's a hit on the pop-up it is very likely you can push it as a normal purchase too.
Offering daily deals on your website helps your customers see that your site is a place where a bargain can be found.

It's heartwarming to be remembered on your birthday, especially as a grown-up. ReConvert has a widget that allows you to collect your customers' Birthday info on the Thank You page, and send them a message on that special day!

Using this feature can help you make your customer feel special by offering them something from your store on their birthday. The information will be synced into the Shopify customer card as a note. Adding the Widget
