Success & error banner block | Shopify
- Follow the GIF to locate the success & error banner block in the ReConvert editor. If you don’t see it in your widget, click "add block" to check if it’s available
- The Success / Error banner actions panel will open on the right-hand side
- You can choose whether to display or hide the banner when:
- A product is successfully added to the cart
- There is an error when adding or removing a product
- The success banner confirms that an item was successfully added to the cart. You can customize it by:
- Changing the default message ("Item successfully added to the cart")
- Selecting a banner type:
- Success (recommended)
- Info
- Warning
- Critical

- Making the success banner dismissible, allowing customers to close it by clicking an "X"
- Clicking "Preview success banner" to generate a popup showing what the customer will see when the banner is triggered
- The error banner appears if there is an issue adding or removing an item. You can customize it by:
- Selecting a banner type:
- Info
- Success
- Warning
- Critical (recommended for error messages)
- Keeping the dynamic error message enabled (recommended) to display specific error details in English
- Making the error banner dismissible, allowing customers to close the message
- Clicking "Preview error banner" to generate a popup showing what the customer will see when the error banner is triggered
- Once you've made your customizations, click save at the top-right corner to apply your updates
- To learn more about a specific block within a widget, you can:
- Navigate using the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page
- Click learn more in the action section for additional help desk articles and videos
