How to revert to the legacy version of ReConvert from the new Flow Builder | Shopify
If you’ve tried our new Flow Builder and for whatever reason feel that the legacy editor better suits your needs, you can easily switch back. Follow these steps to revert to the legacy version in ReConvert for Shopify. We would love to know why though! You can let us know via our live 24/7 customer care team.
- Open ReConvert in Shopify
Log in to your Shopify admin, navigate to ReConvert, and open the app to access your ReConvert settings
- Navigate to Settings
In the ReConvert app, click on Settings to view your account options
- Select Switch Back to Legacy Editor
In your ReConvert settings, look for the option to Switch back to legacy editor and click on it to initiate the reversion process
- Click on Revert to Shopify in the red warning notice that appears to finalize the switch back to the legacy editor
- You will now be taken to the checkout settings within Shopify's settings
- At the very bottom of the page you will see a section that reads 'Order status page additional scripts [deprecated]'. If you look closely, the text within that section will read '...You can downgrade pages to use deprecated additional scripts until December 31 2024'. Click the link on the words 'additional scripts'
Alternatively, depending on when you are reverting, you may see the following instead:-
If you see this, you can go ahead and click revert here.
- Select a reason for your reversion to the legacy version of ReConvert
- A little popup will appear at the very bottom of the screen saying Revert completed which will indicate that you have now successfully reverted to the legacy version of the ReConvert editor
